.. it was indeed, time to transition to the next stage of his life.
Teenhood.
They could have thrown a birthday bash, invited the neighbours, had wild music and plentiful food.
But Sonia didn't want the pomp and circumstance at all. This was 'family time' for the two of them.
So, after buying the (according to Sonia) mediocre (she admitted to being able to bake a better one herself, but Andy had already chosen this decorated confection) cake, they gathered in the tiny cramped trailer style home to celebrate.

Leaning over the cake, Andy pondered thoughtfully at what he should wish for, before blowing out the candles.

In the meantime, Sonia could hardly contain her excitement as she squealed excitedly at the prospects of her son growing up before her eyes.

With a sprinkling of bright sparkles, the transition was complete.

Standing before her, Andrew - NOT little Andy (so he reminded her) any more. A fully-grown teenage boy, still cute as a button, with wavy red hair.

Did this mean the end of their fishing trips together? Picnics in the park? Playing catch outside? .... now that he was finding his feet in the big bad Sim world?
Only time will tell....
Know this though.... his chosen trait, to add to Frugal, Angler and Good Sense of Humour, is Loves the Outdoors.
So the prospects for a brighter future, couldn't be better.
