It started with a Whisk

I was playing Sims 3 and really got caught up in the game, especially with my simself and her antics. So I thought I'd share her 'story' with you all.

Here she is.......

Life, it seemed, was already mapped out for Sonia, as she slowly made her way up the corporate ladder in the Culinary career she'd chosen.

Being a natural cook, artistic and a perfectionist to boot, really helped her along, as she spent many hours making sure that all her meals were exceptional and perfect.

Not happy with the ingredients she bought at the store, she opted, also, to grow her own food. That way, she knew that it wasn't being tampered with and spoiled by pesticides and other nasty chemicals.

There were days.... and nights, where folks would find her, a nose in a book, reading up on the latest recipe on the market. Such was her dedication to her craft.

It wasn't exactly what she had in mind, especially for her Lifetime Wish (to be a Master of Arts), but still, it was a step in the right direction anyway. After all, she needed money to pay for bills and shopping etc. So she had to start somewhere.

Sadly, that meant that the easel and the guitar she'd spent her money on, were standing gathering dust as she strove to do well in her career.

The paltry sum of money she had, was just enough to move her into a tiny little trailer-style shack, where with the remnants, she set about making it as homely as possible.

With the promotions coming in thick and fast, she found she could afford to do more stuff. So she redecorated her bedroom, her sanctuary, in her favourite colour of Turquoise. She found it exceptionally soothing and restful. Especially after a long day at work.

The days all rolled into one, with her mainly travelling to and from work, working in the garden, and trying her hand at writing a novel.

It was a constant routine that never faltered. Except maybe the odd occasion at work, when she'd come home slightly singed around the edges.

Even then, that didn't daunt or dampen her spirits. In her thoughts, all she would be thinking about was how well she was doing to get yet another promotion!!!

She simply lived for cooking, taking pride in every meal that she prepared, and openly showing everyone just how proud she was of her culinary skills and mouthwatering recipes.

But then, one day, completely out of the blue, she decided to make the biggest decision of her life.....
... and it changed everything.
